Dr. Chenyang Wei earned first place in the postdoctoral competition of the Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT) for his talk, Space Birding: AI Meets Community Science. The 3MT was hosted by the Grad School at the Ohio Union.

Wei is a PostDoctoral Researcher in Marta Jarzyna's lab (EEOB) and his expertise lies in remote sensing, environmental modeling, and spatial data analysis.
